Adding Mentees to Mentor Groups

Mentors can add mentees to their Mentor Group in two ways.

Mentees can only be added to Mentor Groups from a computer.

 

1. Add Mentees from the RHS Bar of your Mentor Group

a. From your Mentor Group, click the '+Add Mentee' link in the 'Mentees' box.

b. Enter the name OR university email of the mentee

If the mentee is already a member of UCROO, when you enter their name they will appear in a drop-down list – simply select the student from this list.

If the mentee is not yet a member of UCROO, you will be required to enter their university email to add them (you will know if they are not a member if their name does not appear in a drop-down list). When the mentee joins UCROO, they are automatically added to your Mentor Group. 

 

2. Add Mentees from the 'Edit' Page of your Mentor Group

a. From your Mentor Group, click the 'INFO' tab.

b. Click the green 'Edit' button - this will take you to the 'Edit' Page.

c. Scroll down to the 'Add Mentees' step - enter the name and university email of the mentee you would like to add.

d. If the student is already a member of UCROO, when you enter their name they will appear in a drop-down list - simply select the student from this list.

If the student is not yet a member of UCROO, you will be required to enter their name and university email (you will know if they are not a member if their name does not appear in a drop-down list). When the mentee joins UCROO, they are automatically added to your Mentor Group.

Once added, UCROO automatically emails mentees informing them they have been added to the Mentor Group.

You can add additional mentees to the group by clicking the '+Add Another Mentee' link.

e. Finally, click the 'Save' button to add the mentees to your Mentor Group.
