Creating Student Services Pages

If you are a staff member, you can create a Student Services Page.

To create a Student Services Page:

1. Click on the 'Student Services' link from the LHS Menu

2. Select the '+ Create Service Page' button from the top RHS of the 'Student Services' homepage - after clicking the '+ Student Services Page' button, you will see 'Create Student Services Page' screen

3. Enter the name of your Student Service

4. Select the Faculty your Student Service relates to

If your Student Service is a University-Wide Service that relates to more than one or all Faculties, tick the 'This Student Service is not related to a specific Faculty' checkbox

5. Select the Campus your Student Service relates to

If your Student Service is a University-Wide Service that relates to more than one or all Campuses, tick the 'This Student Service is not related to a specific Campus' checkbox

6. Enter the Office Location for your Student Service

If your Student Service does not have an office, tick the 'This Student Service does not have an Office Location' checkbox

If your Student Service has multiple office locations, then add multiple office locations by clicking the '+ Add Another Office Location' link

7. Enter Drop-In Times for your Student Service

If your Student Service does not have drop-in times, then you can leave this blank

If your Student Service has multiple drop-in times, you can add these by clicking the '+ Add Another Drop-In Time' link

8. Enter a description of your Student Service in the Description section

9. Enter details such as the Service's website, phone number and email in Student Services Details section

10. Add other staff members that will also administrate and post on the Page from the 'Add Staff' section. Add a staff member by entering the staff member's name and university email.

If the staff member is already a member of UCROO, when you enter their name they will appear in a drop-down list - simply select the staff member from this list

If the staff member is not yet a member of UCROO, you will be required to enter their name and university email (you will know the staff member is not yet a UCROO user if their name does not appear in a drop-down list). When the staff member joins UCROO, they are automatically added to the Student Services Page

If more than one staff member will be helping you administrate and post to the Student Services Page, you can add multiple staff members by clicking the '+Add New Staff Member' link

Staff members you have added will automatically receive an email informing them they have been added as Staff Members to the Student Services Page

11. Invite users to 'Follow' your Service Page by selecting a .csv file of university emails. For further support on bulk inviting students to follow your Page see this article: Bulk Inviting Student to Follow Student Services Pages

12. Finally, click the green 'Create Page' button to create the Student Services Page
